A bit about me

First of all, I’ll let you all know that this is my first ever blog. I’m not a writer, this is definitely not my specialty. Nevertheless, I’m going to try this out.

My name is Alexis Sophia (yes, my parents decided I needed 2 first names), but most people just know me as Lexa. I have 4 children, we’ll go into a little more detail on them later.

I’m 29 years old, and since age is just a number, I have no problem admitting that.

I’m pretty open about my life, basically I’m an open book. Seriously you can ask me just about anything, although I’m careful about how much about my children I reveal online.

A quick summary of the past few years of my life…

When I was 19, I met my husband, Ryan- we went to college together. He was 22.

When I was 21, he proposed to me, a few short weeks later, I learned that I was pregnant with my first child. 10 difficult months later, Gabriella was born.

I finished college, and enrolled in medical school, my husband was in his 3rd year of medical school by then.

What seemed like a lifetime later, I graduated from medical school and began my residency.

At 27, I had twins! Identical twin girls named Ashlynn and Calleigh.

4 months ago, my 4th child and first boy, Derek, was born.

I’m going to try and update this blog regularly, but as you’ll realize, things get a little hectic around my house!

Thanks for reading!
